Full-service planning

If you have no free time because of a demanding job, or if you have no clue where to start when it comes to planning, and your organizational skills aren’t the greatest; if you have a very short time frame for planning, or if you’re throwing a destination wedding and/or a wedding weekend involving multiple events, you need a complete planning.

Full service planning includes:

– vendor referrals and contracts negotiation
– meetings with vendors
– creation of detailed timelines and floor plans
– determination and management of your budget
– scouting of the venue
– brainstorming on style ideas and coordination of design details
– coordination of hotel room blocks and transportation
– management of the rehearsal
– day-of coordination

Event design

If the décor is the most important element of the wedding for you, or if you’re confident in your organizational and logistical skills, but your creative skills are lacking, or if you’re trying to pull off a very specific theme or you have a million ideas that you can’t narrow down, then you need wedding design and styling.

Wedding design includes:

– creation of wedding design concept
– color palette guidance
– supervision of décor budget and vendors
– sourcing of special props and equipments
– site inspection to visualize where you want everything to go
– creation of detailed floor plans

Day-of coordination

If you want to play an active role in planning your wedding but would like someone to take care of the last-minute details and make sure you haven’t missed anything; if you’re extremely organized and detail-oriented, or you don’t want to allocate the budget for a full-service planning, then you need a day-of coordination.

Day-of coordination includes:

– at least 25 hours of pre-wedding work (versus 80 to 250 hours for full-service planning; up to 40 for design)
– meeting with you four to eight weeks before the wedding to get a handle on what you’ve planned thus far
– check in with your vendors to review the signed contracts and confirm logistics
– creation of detailed timelines and floor plans
– final walk-through of the ceremony and reception sites
– management of the rehearsal
– supervision of everything on the wedding day
